Happy Sabbath

“Being Ready for Whatever”

Happy Sabbath to all my dear brothers and sisters in Christ in all over the world. Whether you are at church, home, nature or any place, our hearts are bind together as we come to our Lord in Prayer.

I miss my church families A Lot. I'm not sure they have time to think of me. I can imagine at this hour they're busy at getting ready for Praising God. Singing together in unison at church is so wonderful. I can just imagine the Praises that ascend to heaven, to God who is at His throne and He loves our praises. Even Now, dear Lord, as we pray, God take our hearts and minds far away and He draws us closer to Him. Oh yes, I can remember from my experiences of attending church early in the morning. I know who would be the early birds at church and who were those who were late comers.

In year 2013, I had my last worship on 13th Sabbath in the second quarter June. I knew it well from that 13th sabbath school, it was my last chance of attending church. I didn't know that it would happen again. Back in year 2008, I was attending DUMC worship at 5pm on Saturday and my daughter would attend the children's church at 2:30pm. She disliked the worship celebration at the adult worship hall. She was crying to get back to her church. Because of her request, I went back to the Adventist church. I didn't know that it would happen again that I would stop attending church in year 2013.

From the vision and mission that I received, I decided to stay committed to Christ and seek ways to witness and teach my daughter to worship God. As I searched for materials to worship at Adventist Mission, I saw the Simple Church logo, reaching the mission field that lives where you live. I started Simple Church and informed at https://www.facebook.com/groups/SimpleChurchAtHome/permalink/10151792410057477/

My younger sister Sophia was baptized last year in 2014. She requested me to give her a gift, "footprint" which I gave her some years ago. But she said she lost it and she hopes to have it again. It would take time to find a footprint pewter. I decided to give her my footprint key chain today since today in the evening, our family is going to meet up in a restaurant of my choice at Bandar Puteri Puchong for our father's birthday. I hope my other family members will receive Christ. What I need to do is to stay on the Promises of God.

Thank you for all the prayers. My life journey is tough but full of blessings. I determine like the author of Being Ready for Whatever to accept Whatever situations that I am in and pray that God helps me to Be Ready. Now, I must get myself prepare to meet the King of the universe. I always kneel down in front of my balcony and when I finished my worship, I look at the Sky to receive an assurance that God is with me, His Grace is sufficient for me. Amen.

Lesson 2 From Ear to Feet

Tuesday Lesson: Protect Your Friendship

Read Proverbs 6:1–5. What problem does Solomon refer to, and what is the solution? What crucial spiritual principle do we find here as well?

Solomon refereed to a dangerous promise to become surety, (guaranty or collateral) for friends.

The solution is to deliver yourself by pleading with your friend and humble yourself. You must deliver yourself like a gazelle from the hand of the hunter and like a bird from the hand of the fowler.

Crucial spiritual principle to make sure that I must be cautious in considering financial backing for a friend who is in debt. Be careful of my words, of not making promise that I can't keep.

How do we learn to balance our desire to bear one another’s burdens (Gal. 6:2) with the words given to us in this proverb?

We have to first put on our seat belt before we can advice our passengers in the same vehicle with us to put on seat belt. In another word, we all have to practice Safety by doing what is required by the law. God's law is written in our heart and He put His Spirit in us to obey Him, so we can indeed learn to balance our desire to bear one another's burdens. It's not easy, but with Christ, All Things Are Possible.

Lesson 1 The Call of Wisdom

Lesson 1 The Call of Wisdom
Friday Jan 2 Further Study
Third day of 2015 (03-01-2015). Search my treasure in God's Word early morning at 4:30am. Digging for hidden treasure requiring hard work. One of the criteria is to wake up early in the morning. Earnest study and close investigation to know where is my treasure for today so that I deposit the treasure I found in my heart.

"No earthy blessing can be obtained without earnest, patient, persevering effort" (
Ellen G. White, Christ’s Object Lessons, pp. 111–114).  A higher pursuit than the things of this world. "We need the enlightenment of the Holy Spirit in order to discern the truths in God's word" (Ellen G. White, Christ’s Object Lessons, pp. 111–114).

"What a grief it is to see children of God-fearing parents unruly and disobedient, unthankful and self-willed, full of determination to have their own way, regardless of the inconvenience or sorrow it causes their parents. Satan takes delight in ruling the hearts of children, and if he is permitted he will inspire them with his own hateful spirit" (Ellen G. White, Messages to Young People, pp. 333-334).

I can see my daughter is growing up. She hates me reminding her for drinking water, praying to God when she wakes up in the morning, making her bed, doing revision for her study, memorizing her memory verse and reading bible. She'll say: "I hate ....". Indeed this "hate" word from her mouth grief me. My daughter has a father who believes differently from her mother. But one thing for sure, no matter how much both me and my husband have a different view for our belief, both of us want our daughter to have Obedience to us, the Parents.

My daughter's life is recorded in the book of Heaven. Only after 6 years of marriage, I conceived a child. I was 36 I received this miracle. It was late night when I had a phone conversation with my classmate for our Montessori class assignment. I felt unwell and my friend jokingly said that it could be that I had conceived. She urged me to go to clinic. Somehow, it was late. Most clinics were close. But one clinic still opened. I went in and Dr. Frances found out that I indeed conceived. He told me that it's his most happy moment that day. Since he found out that I had a big cyst in my womb, he wanted me to be admitted to hospital immediately. It's unforgettable night. I was feeling extremely cold in the hospital and the next day, I was checked by Dr. Paul Tay. He performed cesarean at University Malaya Specialist Centre on August 24, 2006. Later in 2009, I discovered that I had cervical cancer, I asked Dr. Paul Tay to do a hysterectomy at Assunta hospital.
